Hello my brother has an account, but he doesn't remeber his password!! The original e-mail he had was deleted and erased and he had some good stuff in there...So we have been contacting NcSoft and they keep making us going in circles!!! First they say something about his master account and stuff... and he says they won't reset his password...its been a little over ONE week and they are doing nothing!!!! And what angers me more is that i was in the same position cause i stopped playing for a while and I PERFECTLY GOT MY NEW PASSWORD IN 1 MINUTE!!!!!! Its just not fair at all!

Keep going through customer service, they are the only ones that can help. Tell your brother to write down his password next time.

yeah to only thing you can do is contacting costumer support again and again. You also could try some passwords that he uses for other things like hotmail/gmail. normal login for windows, other games and websites. Coz mostly the passwords are the same.

wow your almost making it seem they dont want to help you and they are doing it on porpuse.Did you even think about how easy its to scam this way? i can easily go and say yea my bro blablabla and then
A) i get a free account or B)Nothing happens cause they know im lieying.

Its your brothers fault that this happend, lost his password ,lost his email,.. i dunno sounds fishy to me, thats the same thing anet might be thinking , of course they are trying to help but they have to consider things.

You need to go to http://support.plaync.com to create a Master PlayNC account for GW games, since it is not automatically created. (I'm sure most of the community has not even created a Master Account)

Having your game serials added to the PlayNC Support system will expedite most requests, such as password resets.

What was the e-mail type that was deleted?
Useually only Hotmail, Netscape, and other free mail providers delete accounts. And in that case, you could just re-create the account, request the pass again, and then it will show up there.

Most times you can access your e-mail elsewhere, so try that.

Note* in refference to chief's advice, If you've already created your gw account, you can't associate it with a plaync account through the plaync website. You have to log into Guild Wars and from there it will force you to associate it with a plaync account when you try to access the ingame store. (atleast I believe this is true.. maybe I'm just crazy)

No he deleted the email itself, not his account email, he says that he has a masters account and also says that he type the access key into Guild Wars 1ST before the plaync account. The rule states to type the code to the master account BEFORE starting the game.

Like I said above, you can still associate it with the plaync account but you'd have to log in and do it through the ingame store :/

If he just deleted the initial confirmation email, you should just be able to click reset password from the login screen and it'll be sent to his email. It can take upto 24 hours though.

Would Chief's method of creating an account via Plaync be better in terms of security, as I am thinking about doing it myself.

I don't have any problems with my account though.

if your email ACCOUNT is still there and you can access it, you can simply reset the password...
